Don't Be Overdue!

Oil changes can seem like a hassle and an inconvenience, but serious damage can occur if you run your vehicle on oil and dirty oil.

The longer you operate your vehicle on the same oil, the darker in color it becomes as it degrades - make sure you keep an eye on the color of your oil which can help indicate a need for a change.  A low oil level is also a sign to make that appointment, as it indicates that the engine has been running on that oil for quite some time.

Many cars have an oil light or check engine light warning for your oil change when the level becomes low, degraded, or dirty. Pay attention to these signs and make sure you schedule an oil change if any of these signs occur.  All this affects your engine's performance as well as increases your engine's wear and therefore it's life.  Serious repairs or failures can occur if the oil is old or too low.
