The Uniroyal® brand took center stage at a May 20th gathering in Detroit to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Giant Uniroyal Tire. Uniroyal’s yearlong celebration of the former 1964/1965 World’s Fair Ferris wheel, turned roadside icon, came full circle as national media gathered for a May 20th party at the Allen Park, MI, site of the Giant Uniroyal Tire. Attendees enjoyed a barbecue lunch and a rare look inside the tire. Brand Manager, Ray Fischenich, spoke to about 100 guests, including journalists from The Wall Street Journal, The Associated Press, and Modern Tire Dealer, about Uniroyal’s continuing leadership in providing affordable and dependable tires to customers.
